RMU Bikes Warranty Policy

At RMU Bikes, we are committed to building high-quality bikes that are made to withstand the rigors of modern mountain biking. We stand behind our products and are dedicated to keeping you riding. We understand that every situation is unique, and our goal is to provide a fair and honest solution as quickly as possible.

This warranty policy applies to the original owner only. To qualify for a warranty claim, you must register your frame on our website with the serial number and provide proof of purchase.

Limited Lifetime Frame Warranty RMU Bikes warrants each new RMU bicycle frame against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the frame. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner. We will repair or replace any defective frame part or complete frame at our sole discretion. Due to variations in paint batches and natural aging, we cannot guarantee a perfect color match for replacement parts.

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover: This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item and is the sole remedy of the warranty. It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Damage or failure resulting from improper assembly, maintenance, or modifications.

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, or commercial use.

  • Damage to the paint or finish from environmental factors (e.g., UV fade) or the removal of protective tapes or adhesives.

  • Labor costs associated with the warranty claim.

  • Shipping or transportation costs to send the damaged product to RMU Bikes.

  • Third-party components (e.g., suspension, drivetrain, brakes). These are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties.

Crash Replacement Policy In addition to our warranty, all RMU Bikes frames are covered for life under our "Crash Replacement Policy" for the original owner. If your frame is damaged due to a crash or other non-warranty situation, you may be able to purchase a replacement frame or frame section at a reduced price, subject to product availability. RMU Bikes reserves the right to determine the eligibility and pricing of any crash replacement. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from RMU Bikes.
